So reading the book raised a question…do I need to be looking at famous photographers’ work? Annie references her influences like I should know who they are, or what she’s talking about. Reading this book is like having a conversation at a museum with one of those horn-rimmed glass wearing guys dressed in all black that speaks with a fake british accent.

Frequently I would see a scene to photograph, and normally did (see photo above, and yes…I know I’ve posted it before). The arguments with the Transit Police were very often frightening. After the first altercation I started carrying copies of the MTA rules on photography to present to the untrained officers. They didn’t like this, and it normally made the arguments more heated, but it kept me from being arrested/fined.

My fiance bought this wallet for me for Christmas this past year and it’s amazing. The idea of it is that it can hold all the crap from my old “costanza” wallet while still maintaining a slim profile. I was skeptical at first, but it was amazing when I got it, and after using it for 2 months now, I can say with all certainty that it’s the best wallet I’ve ever owned.
