It’s official, I have scheduled my first ever Art show! Not only that, I have scheduled my next 5! This is something that I’ve always wanted to do and never really got around to doing it. I am starting with a huge run, printing and framing 26 different images which I may in the future offer for sale through the website as well. Most all of the images are from the main website, or at least have been at one time or another. I’m printing mostly 20×30’s and some 16×20’s
It’s such an amazing thing to see my photos printed. It’s something I haven’t really experienced on this scale in over 5 years. I’ve been very nostalgic lately, daydreaming about the days when I used to shoot film and spend hours on end in the darkroom printing them. I miss that, I miss the tactile response and the smell of fixer. For now, printing for shows in coffee shops is satisfying that urge…if only slightly.
So, my first show is going to be in August at an enormous coffee shop in Cookeville, TN. I’ll leave you with the details on the opening (I will be there!). Swing by and say hi if you live in Cookeville, or if you can make the trip!
