First order of business, the Gallery Section of my site has had a slight redesign, any thoughts or critiques are always appreciated.
Second, here’s this year’s santa series! This is a promo piece that I started last year when I bought this Santa at the Nitty Gritty vintage store in Louisville, KY. Best $12 I ever spent. I’m going to try to keep this up every year…all my clients/potential clients get a set of holiday cards with these images on them before Christmas. It’s a really fun promo and I have a blast doing it…he’s just so darn creepy, and this year he has reindeer!!!! The idea comes from the creepiest of all Christmas songs, “Here comes Santa Claus”. With lyrics like, ” He sees you when you’re sleeping, he knows when you’re awake” and “You better watch out, You better not cry”, one can see how a creepy looking santa like this can become incredibly appropriate. Enjoy!

Be sure to pipe up and leave a comment or two to let me know what you think…tell your friends! Tell your enemies!!!
They are so cute and a little creepy!
I love the reindeer this year! I like the “drunk” santa.
I love this series every year. Never stop doing it.
Both series are awesome. Especially love Santa behind the pile of coal from last year.
Thanks for all the comments, they’re always really fun to shoot. Rob: The coal one was the last shot last year, I felt like the series hadn’t been rounded out and needed one more to do it. I shot that outside my old apartment on Gale Ln. Thanks again, keep comments coming, I love reading them!
Yeah, a little creepy. My fav is santa lookin like he’s about to pound one back: I hope that’s some good tequila!
Jose Cuervo is no one’s friend…not even Santa’s…
